Disable Assembly Components

You can exclude unused components from the analysis or disable components to specify initial conditions that are different from the defaults, as well as specify local regions of rotation, volume sources and volume goals, etc.

Procedure

  1. To access the Component Control  dialog:
    • In the Flow Simulation projects tree, right-click the Input Data item and select Component Control.

    • On the ribbon, click Flow Simulation > Project > Component Control.

    • On the toolbars, click Component Control on the Flow Simulation Main toolbar.

    • In the menu, select Tools > Flow Simulation > Component Control.

  2. Under State, select or clear the check box at the right of the components’ name in list to enable or disable parts or subassemblies.

    You can select a group of components by holding Shift key whiles electing them.

    If you want to make available all components or only the hidden ones, select the corresponding item in the Component Filter  list. This option is available for the list which contains different type components.

  3. Click Apply to apply changes and proceed with settings or click OK  to apply changes and close the dialog.
