To create an animation
showing how the distribution of visualized parameters changes from
one results file to another in a series of results files, you need
to specify a scenario defining which results files to include in
the animation and which animation time interval belongs to each
of the results files in the scenario:
You can use the Animation Wizard to
define a scenario. You specify the first and the last time moments
corresponded to the saved results files in a series and the distribution
of the time intervals of individual results files animations on
the animation timeline (see “Animation Wizard”).
Alternatively,
you can create a scenario manually:
Procedure
- Right-click in the Results feature track
at the desired time moment (start or end) within a time interval
belonging to a scenario-based animation and select Insert Control Point.
The new control point
appears.
See “Change the Animation Type” for information on how to select the scenario-based animation type.
- Drag the second control point to another desired
time moment (end or start) and click in the Timeline area.
The control bar is
created.
- Right-click at the first control point on the
control bar and select Properties.
- Click Browse.
The Load Results from File dialog
box appears.
- Select a results file and click Open.
- Click OK.
- Add control points within the created control
bar to define time intervals for each file you want to include in
the transient animation time by right-clicking on the control bar
at the desired animation time moment and selecting Insert Control Point.
Right-click on each
added control point, select Properties,
click Browse and
select the results file for the control bar beginning at that control point.
