Mesh Channels

Allows you to display the model surfaces colored by the channels height on the model faces.

Procedure

  1. Under Channels specify the range of the channel height within which you want to display the mesh cells.

To define how a channel height changes within the specified range, specify the Number of Levels  and the parameter Minimum  and Maximum  values, which are the lowest and highest values to be used for coloring. See also “Color Bar Settings”.

  2. Under Mesh you can specify the Color by  that allows to change the default mesh color.

Click Color  button to specify this color.

  3. Under Options you can select or clear Interpolate to activate or deactivate interpolation of the channel height value between the discrete values in individual cells.

Deactivating interpolation allows you to see the exact channel height as it exists in the computational mesh.

  4. Under Crop Region define the 3D box that crops the mesh visualization area (see “Crop Region (Mesh)” for details).
  5. Click OK .

Click Keep Visible  before clicking OK  to keep the dialog open and proceed with the plot definition.
