Project Name

The project wizard guides you through the definition of a new Flow Simulation project.

On the Project Name tab you can specify the configuration to which the project will be connected.

You can either use the current configuration with its native name, or create a new configuration based on the current configuration.

Procedure

  1. Under Project, enter a new Project name.

If necessary, add the desired Comments to the project.

After the project is created you can access the Edit Comment  dialog to revise comments:

    • On the ribbon, click Flow Simulation > Project > Edit Comment.

    • In the menu, select Tools > Flow Simulation > Project > Edit Comment.

  2. Under Configuration to add the project, select the desired configuration with the geometry you want to use as a basis for the analysis. From the Configuration list select one of the following ways:
    • Use current. This method attaches a new Flow Simulation project to the currently active configuration.

    • Select. This method allows you to attach a new Flow Simulation project to an existing configuration.

Then select the desired configuration from the Configuration name list.

    • Create New. Using this method, you define a new configuration for the new Flow Simulation project that is based on an existing configuration.

      Then enter a Configuration name.

  3. Click Next or click the button on the Navigator pane to switch to the corresponding dialog box of the Wizard.
