The SOLIDWORKS Manage Project module has multiple Diagrams available to assist with Project Analysis and Management.

Pert Chart

A PERT chart is a project management tool that provides a graphical representation of a project's timeline. The Program Evaluation Review Technique (PERT) is used to graphically see the relationship and flow of Project stages.

 

Network Diagram

A Network Diagram is a graphical way to view stages, dependencies, and the critical path of your project. Boxes (or nodes) represent stages, and dependencies show up as lines that connect those boxes.

 

The Nodes are split in to multiple segments:

• Top Left

  This is the earliest start date for the stage.

• Top Middle

  This is the stage duration.

• Top Right

  This is the earliest finish date for the stage.

• Middle

  This is the Name of the stage.

• Bottom Left

  This is the latest start date for the stage.

• Bottom Middle

  This is the slack for the stage.

   

  Slack is the amount of time that a stage in a project can be delayed, without causing a delay to subsequent stages.

• Bottom Right

  This is the latest finish date for the stage.
