Items Context Menu

The Items Tab is only available in a Process Object.

 

This tab displays any SOLIDWORKS Manage Records which are affected by this process. The right click context menu has the following options available:

• Open Record

  This option opens Property Card for the selected Record.

• Open file

  This option opens the selected file from the Local Working Directory, in its default application.

• Copy selected value

  This option copies the value from the column of the selected record, to the Windows Clipboard.

• Go to record

  This option takes the User to the object where the record exists and highlights the record in the Main Grid.

• Add

  This option is only available if the User accepts the Process has permissions to Add Records at this Process Stage.

• Add related records

  This option is only available if the User accepts the Process has permissions to Add Records at this Process Stage.

• Move to Sub-Process

  This option moves the selected items to a Sub-Process.

• Remove

  This option is only available if the User accepts the Process has permissions to Remove Records at this Process Stage. Only the selected Record will be removed.

• Remove All

  This option is only available if the User accepts the Process has permissions to Remove Records at this Process Stage. All Records will be removed.

• Create Shortcut

  See Shortcuts

• Refresh

  This option refreshes the list of affected items.

• Export to Excel

  This option exports a file to Excel and maintains icons and formatting.

• Match revision of linked drawings

  This option ensures that the SOLIDWORKS Part or Assembly is at the same version as the linked SOLIDWORKS Drawing.
