Record Ribbon Bar

When working with a Record Property Card, there are two ribbon bar menus available.

• Main
• Reports

Main

• Save

This option saves the Record in it's current state. Only available if the record is checked out to the current user.

• Open file

Opens the primary file associated to the Record. This option is not available for Record or PDM Objects.

• Check Out

  This option checks out the record to the current user, if they have permissions to perform this action. This option is not available for PDM Objects.

  When this option is selected a window is displayed showing the user which records will be checked out.

• Check In

  This option checks in the record, so any other user with permission can work on the record. This option is not available for PDM Objects.

  When this option is selected a window is displayed showing the user which records will be checked in.

•  Undo Check Out

  This option cancels the Check Out process and return the record to its previous revision.

• Record Number and Revision

  Label showing the Record Number and current Revision.

• Record Status

Label showing the current state of the Record.

• Date and Time

  Label showing the date and time showing the Records created date.

   

Reports

• Reports

Any reports which the user has access to can be selected from the drop-down menu.

 

Reports and their associated permissions are configured by the System Administrator.

• Run

  Opens the selected report a preview window. Reports can be viewed, printed, saved, or even exported in a range of formats.
