Record Tabs

Record Tabs are defined by the System Administrator and their visibility is based upon user permissions.

 

If you require visibility of additional tabs, please contact your System Administrator.

 

Record Tabs have a default System Name, but may have been configured with a different Display Name, please contact your System Administrator.

 

Record Tabs (Default System Name)

Tab visibility is based up on user permissions. Only tabs with hyperlinks are available currently on Web Client.

 

These are the default names for SOLIDWORKS Manage tabs. The System Administrator may have renamed these.

• BOM
• SWConfigurations
• Related Files
• History
• Where Used
• Audit
• ToDo
• Where Used As Field
• Comments
• References
• Emails
• Notifications
• Workflow Diagram
• Referenced Objects
• Special Objects

Record Tabs appear in two views. When a record is selected in the Main Grid, a Record Specific Grid opens at the bottom of the User Interface. The same tabs are also visible on the left hand side when a record is opened in a new browser tab.

 

Depending upon the web browser being used, the user may have to allow pop-ups, as these can prevent new tabs from opening.

 

Record Specific Grid Tabs

Record Tabs are displayed in the Record Specific Grid which appears below the Main Grid, when a record is selected.

 

Record Property Card Tabs (when opened in a new browser window)

Record Tabs are displayed on the left hand side, when a record property card is opened in a new browser window.
